Imagus for Safari is a small, yet useful addon that brings a variety of enhancements to the browser's functionality, changing the way it handles images. Its main advantage is that it allows you to view a picture at its original dimension just by hovering the mouse cursor over it.

The extension provides multiple customization possibilities, enabling you to discover its capabilities as you go through each option. It substitutes the built-in viewer of Safari so that images can be viewed at their natural dimension or resized to fit the width and / or height of the browser window.

There are options for modifying the background colors and adding image borders to the viewer.To make things easier, you can set shortcuts for rotating images, switching the sizing mode, resetting the zooming level, opening the image in a new tab or suspending any action of Imagus for Safari.

In addition to this, the display delay is adjustable and image preloading can be enabled. Zoomable images can be marked to let you know that there is an enlarged version available and pictures with a higher resolution are automatically displayed.

You can set the opacity, size and position of the popup window, as well as its position on the screen. Also, pictures can be easily rotated and flipped horizontally or vertically.

With Imagus for Safari installed in your browser, pictures that are displayed as thumbnails on a website can be previewed at their actual size, without accessing the image URL.
